Legend Kombucha unveils the world’s first meditation-grade kombucha

Legend Kombucha is setting its sights on refined palates—the enthusiasts of fine whiskies, aged rums, and vintage wines—aiming to pivot kombucha toward a whole new demographic. Their latest move? The launch of “Lapsang Souchong,” a limited-edition release featuring the prestigious black tea from China’s Fujian province. To this day, the tea is dried using ancient artisanal methods over smoking pine wood fires.

In a nod to luxury collectibles, only 599 numbered bottles are available—a “minus one” count typical of high-end limited runs.

According to the brand, the result is a smooth, enveloping beverage with a peated aroma and smoky notes of resin and tobacco. These deep flavors are expertly balanced by the crisp acidity of South Tyrolean apple juice. This is a “meditation kombucha,” designed to be savored slowly at the end of a meal or during moments of relaxation with family and friends.

In line with our premium positioning, we created this new reference to appeal not just to kombucha enthusiasts, but to a wider audience of spirit lovers and slow-drinking aficionados. This is a more ‘adult’ Legend—complex and crafted with rare, high-quality ingredients.”

The Legend Kombucha Lapsang Souchong is more than a drink; it’s a collector’s piece. Housed in an elegant black and gold silk-screened case, each bottle comes in a special 750ml format, individually numbered and packaged.

To heighten the exclusivity, customers can even request their preferred bottle number. After placing an order, buyers simply reply to their confirmation email with their choice, which will be honored based on availability.
