As the global bubble tea market reached a valuation of $3.43 billion in 2025—according to the latest Bubble Tea Market Report—Italian player Bobble Bobble has confirmed its strong trajectory, closing the year with a turnover of €5 million. Founded in Tuscany in 2017, the company specializes in both BOB-branded ready-to-drink (RTD) bubble tea and premium popping boba.

The company’s sales mix highlights an increasingly global footprint: 55% of revenue is generated domestically in Italy, while the remaining 45% stems from international markets. Financial health remains robust, with an EBITDA of €610,000, reflecting a strategic balance between rapid expansion, capital investment, and profitability.

Patented Recipe and Italian Supply Chain

Bobble Bobble has established itself as a leading innovator in the segment. Its flagship product, BOB, features a patented recipe designed to solve a common technical challenge: preventing flavor contamination between the fruit boba and the liquid over time. Furthermore, the boba are crafted using real fruit juice rather than flavorings, utilizing only natural colorants.

Production is centralized at the company’s facility in Lucca, maintaining an exclusively Italian supply chain. The brand also leans heavily into inclusivity; BOB is naturally gluten-free and lactose-free, and carries both Vegan OK and Halal (alcohol-free) certifications.

2026 Objectives

“In 2026,” says Simone Simonelli, co-founder alongside Nicolò Ossino, “we will continue to focus on expanding our product range and strengthening our international presence. Our priorities remain the innovation and manufacturing excellence that underpinned this year’s success.”

Currently present in over 25 countries with thousands of active points of sale across both HoReCa and retail channels, Bobble Bobble is entering a new phase of growth, aiming to solidify its position as a key protagonist in the innovative beverage landscape.
